Can anyone help with the above??? I really need an economical yet great way to wrap this?? I have zillions of ribbon & not one of them looks right! This will be an item I will always stock & promote heavily, so I was almost thinking of putting each item into a stack box & then bow. Unfortunately, those boxes are so expensive just to hide the different colors & shapes of my items. Can ANYONE think of a more affordable wrap... ?? Hi Beth, I didn't reply because my idea would simply be to put it in a tall skinny (don't know the dimensions off the top of my head) gift basket bag and bow the top. Not real exciting, but that's probably how I'd do it! Angie |

Beth, are you planning on using cello (a bag perhaps) with one of your beautiful bows? Not sure if that is what your question is. With what you've mentioned, I am guessing that you are trying to figure out how to keep each box from shifting on the other one, especially with the different sizes/shapes, am I correct? Maybe you could choose a "base" ribbon and tie it off with that (you know ... think wrapping on a square box, where the ribbon goes up each side.) Tie off at the top, perhaps use curling ribbon as the additional box colors accents. You could bring the curly ribbon in the same fashion (on top of the wider "base" ribbon, then have long "tendrils" of curly hanging down from the top, sort of shooting out the top of the main bow, hanging down the sides a bit. Do just a very light curl and you'll have sort of a "fountain" look. I can see this in my head, but not sure if I'm describing it right. This style, would most likely NOT be cello wrapped. Are you going to glue dot each container to the other, or something in order to avoid slippage? Maybe do the main bow in either coordinating gold or silver, then pull in the pink, brown and blue (or even add the gold and silver) curly. Hope this offered even a tidbit of help. I don't think I was worried so much about the items shifing(glue dots) as much as I was just thinking that none of them match eachother!! One round & gold, one rect.& silver & one a sq. pink, blue & brown. Beth Luggery Why Choose Ordinary....CHOOSE Extraordinary! Hand delivery to ALL of South Florida

Beth, is there any way you could post a picture of these? It may help us visualize better, and make more meaningful suggestions. Adriana Copaceanu - Board Administrator Gift Basket Exchange

Hi Beth. this is a tough one. I think it's the gold tin that's really throwing it off. I wondered if you could purchase clear rounds, cut a sleeve from a paper complimentary to the pink, blue, brown theme to slip inside the round, so the tin sides would be disguised. I don't think the top matters much since you're stacking. You could easily slip the little silver tin into a candy box if you wanted. Ribbon it and I think that might work. The clears aren't terribly expensive and the $$ spent might save you lots of aggravation. Here's a pic creativefoodpackaging.com Hope this gets you kick started. Tere Pia's of Pleasant Valley

Beth - I posted this on GB Sharing Circle as well. You always do such beautiful stuff - you probably thought of these, but if it helps: - Maybe match the the middle box - pink/brown ribbon and then attach some sort of gold/silver enhancement - Put gold and silver star spray pieces sticking out of the bow 0r curling ribbon or ribbon pieces - Maybe a layered bow with these colors - see mine below - Cello Fan with Colored Tissue Behind It - Pink/Brown Bow with Gold & Silver Punchinello behind it - I forget what you call this stuff - it's upscale kind of glimmering netting - see picture

Thanks for all the ideas, I was really stumped on this because of the different shapes & each being a different color. I wound up ignoring it! I tried matching just the box with the colors & forgetting about the gold & silver tins,,, this is what I wound up with: Can creations~ Brown satin ribbon that reverses to blue on other side & instead of using a cellow bag, I'm going to use Brown & Blue poka Dot Cello also from Can Creations. Good idea about the tassle Debra, I'll see if it needs it after the ribbon & cello come. Below is the pink, blue & brown box ribbon & cello. Beth

Hi Beth, I just recently bought a fabulous ribbon at Costco (Yes their spring ribbon is in) and it would match perfectly. It is light pink, darker pink, brown and blue. I will take a picture and email it to you. Is this blue more of a turquoise? Costco also had a roll of ribbon that was turquoise with silver glitter dots that would work to tie in the silver tin. Even putting these together would look great as I am looking at them together right now and I think I will do the same. I always put tins and boxes together in a stack for the holidays. The containers don't always match and I wrap with cello and tie everything in with the bow or the net that I told you about. It makes a fabulous presentation. I was blown away when I saw the glitter dots ribbon for 6.89. I recently paid 14.00 for 25 yards for olive green and amber both with glitter dots. Marilyn Taylor Bountiful Basket
