Thanks, Beth. I contacted the company to see how these cakes could be purchased. I'm waiting on a follow-up response for some additional questions I have. The Buccaneers may be a little cheaper than Tortuga from what I saw online (but I'm not sure). I do like Tortuga's packaging better. -rena | ||

I did invest in the Buccaneer cakes at one time because of the lower price point. I found them to be super sweet and a lot more rummy than the Tortuga. And the packaging wasn't up to Tortuga's standards. There was a woman in New York that introduced them to the board, I think her name was Claire. Thanks, Pat. I've got my eye on the Tortugas and will probably go with them since they seem to be a bit easier to order. From the emails sent, Buccaneer does not have a distributor set up for us to order from. She mention Food Town in Florida....sounds like a grocery store chain to me, but I could be wrong. Tortuga's packaging definitely wins me over.  -rena |
