Anybody else who hosts with Blue Monkey having problems? My site has been down for an hour and a half and that might not seem like much but Valentine's is super busy for us! I e-mailed DeWayne but am not able to open a support ticket. I keep hitting a page on the Blue Monkey website that says "you may need a password" but there isn't any place to log in... To be honest, website is so reliable, I haven't had to open a support ticket in ages!!! Anybody know anything???? Weather related? My worst fear is that it will be down all evening!!!

Hi, I can't get my site up either. I'm assuming it's weather related. I'm confident that Dewayne is doing all he can to get up back online.

quick fyi, systems are being rebooted now and as soon as the disks are checked you guys should all be back online. We will also be watching this server closely all night.

I know this is bad timing for you guys and for that we apologize but on a good note our team started working on the problem within 5 minutes of the failure so all internal checks and alerts worked as expected. The fix and reboot are what is taking a little bit since this server has been running nonstop for a few years now.

I wanted to give you an update. the server disk check is taking longer than expected however it is proceeding normally. We will continue to watch server until all service is restored.

Server91 is still posting disk checks, unfortunately these things just take time after an incident like this, the server is being watched. We will continue to post updates as they develop.

Christy -

That is an honest question. I am personally expecting any minute now but I have been thinking that for an hour. The disk check scans itself for errors etc to make sure all is right, if it find errors it will correct itself and rescan so it is very hard to put a time on it. I wish it were an issue of us working fast, right now we are in the same boat as you, waiting.

I have not seen any errors at this time so I don't foresee any problems. I am hoping it will finish within the next hour or so.

We are staying up with the server to make sure it comes online asap.

Server is back up and website is fully functional this morning. It was a long and frustrating evening, however, I suspect Dewayne didn't get much sleep either. I (as well as everyone else on the same server, I'm sure) sincerely appreciate all of Dewayne's efforts to rectify the situation as quickly as he was able.

You are welcome and thank you all for your patience; this was indeed a freak of nature that caused the failure. Also based on our internal processes the server will still be monitored and checked every few minutes to ensure all is right with its world.
