Hi, All Just came across some info on Google AdSense, and was wondering if any of you know of a site that uses it so I can see what it looks like in action. Does anyone have it on their site? Adriana, I searched here and found a thread from several years ago on this ~ are you still able to point me toward soms sites that actively use this feature? Thanks everyone for any help you can give! ~Chrystal http://www.Wings-as-Eagles-Gift-Baskets.com "Each day given is a gift from God. What I choose to do with it is my gift back to Him."

Nicole: Everyone has their own ideas but I don't use Google Adsense on my gift basket website because the sites that are going to be listed will be other gift basket sites. Why would I want to send potential customers to another website? You'll find google adsense ads on the homepage for this site www.gbexchange.net. Hi,Joyce Yeah, I noticed that after I set it up on my page. When it asked for keywords for my site, I of course entered the generic gift basket keywords, for supplies and the like, but I noticed that other businesses are showing up, and I'm having to block them with the competitive ad filter. Wish I'd have known that would be the case before I set it up, but you live and you learn, right? I'm in the process of putting in other keywords that cater to moms and children and have very little to do with actual gift baskets themselves. Hoping that they'll still be interesting to site shoppers, but still help me keep the names of other gb businesses off the site. We'll see how it all pans out. Thanks for the info, I appreciate the response. Have a good one! "Each day given is a gift from God. What I choose to do with it is my gift back to Him."

It's not something I would put on my business site. I want people to buy my products rather than being distracted by other options of information. Personally, I think they're better suited to non e-commerce sites such as blogs or portals. Just my 2cents. Absolutely, Joyce and Little Pixie are so right. Don't put them on an e-commerce site, you work hard to get those visitors and in one split second they're gone for the 3 cents that Google ad pays. Most likely they will never return. I'd remove Google asap if I were you, and you're right, live and learn.
