A lady in my netwoking group has offered me a space in her store. The one half of her store is her jewelry store, the other half she has women owned businesses set up there to sell their wares. She is not charging me to have a table just 20% of what I make on the baskets, which is pretty standard, I believe. What I would like to know besides the baskets, should I put single items out like pretzels, mustard, coffee and that type of thing or should I just stick to the baskets. This is a new venue for me and would really like opinions. TIA Eileen Houpt-Gift Baskets and Candy Wrappers for all Occasions www.getbasketsandmore.com

Eileen: I would suggest having other things as well as baskets. You might even want to put together smaller gift packages (such as coffee and cookies) that someone can pick up for a spur of the moment gift for a business associate. on a hundred dollar basket, if your net profit is 30% after all expenses, is it worth it to you to make ten bucks after the store owner receives twenty? i dunno..... (Message edited by patrick on May 28, 2008) Pat
