Hi All: Would like to thank the group for allowing my membership and to introduce myself. I am new to the business within the last 6 months, so I know I have a lot to learn.

I have a question "advertising" --what is the best, cost effective form of advertising you have discovered over the years?

Our local paper will be featuring a "business spotlight" within the next 2 weeks. I am hoping this helps gets my name out there. I have also advertised with this publication with not much sucess?

I live on the west coast of Florida where the real estate market is booming. I have presented sample baskets to the several offices along with ordering info etc. Waiting to see if the response is good?

Does anyone provide baskets to home builders and bank? Has it worked for you?

Suggestions on markets to target are very welcome.

Look forward to participating in this group!

Welcome!!! Glad to have you here. I would say that it depends on the area where you are at for which advertising works best. For realtors in my area word of mouth works good. I have done flyers to the real estate offices but according to our own realtor most realtors don't look at them as they get so many flyers in their boxes through the realtor delivery system we have. I have also tried post cards through the post office which I thought would work great but didn't. My suggestion would be to talk to a realtor you know personally, if possible, who would be honest and tell you what works for your area and what doesn't for getting their attention.
Carol
