Hello, Question: I take my own pictures for my site, in 2007 I purchase a Kodak C330 digital camera for 149.00, plus tax, I only use it to take pictures for the site, so it's not use a lot. Wednesday I tired to takes some pictures and I got a lens error code 14. I purchase new batteries etc, still got the samething, called Kodak they told me to mail it in and that it would 89.00 plus shipping. Since it cost just as much to buy a new camera, I won't have that one repaired, but I hate making mistakes over and over again. What's the best Camera for less? Any Advice? Thanks Sylvia |

Most "point and shoot" digital cameras should work. Have you tried going to a camera shop and asking their opinion? They send cameras away for repair, so you would have the same costs, but they also may be able to give you an idea of what could be wrong. It could be a simple fix. |

Thanks for the reply to my question. I checked around and just to have them look at it is 35.00 or more (service charge). I checked online with that model/error code, and it seems that some have had the same problem, so it's a mechanical problem. I will have to buy another One. Thanks Again. |
