Pat, first of all welcome to the forum. Now, here is my take on your site: hopefully you won't mind me being direct. It's a good start, but there are thing you can improve. Here are some you can start working on: - shrink your header: it's taking too much "real estate" from your page, and it;s overwhelming. It's also too dark in my opinion. Look at some of the large companies selling gift baskets, and see how they have very small headers/logos, so that the eye is attracted to the baskets, and not to the top of the page. - on the home page, you also have another banner: why? What is its purpose? I don't see it linking to anything, just there with more basket pictures and the kid opening the gift. I would remove that. You only have a few seconds to catch your visitor's attention, and if they have to scroll to see your first product, you may have already lost their interest. - your product pictures are way too small: can you increase the size. It's hard to see the basket, and when you click through to the product page, it's still the same size, and you have to click again to see a larger picture. The more times a potential customer has to click, the easier it is to give up and go somewhere else. Make it easy for people to see what they'd get, and get it easily. - capitalize each word in your categories: it makes it look unprofessional when it's all in lower case letters That's a start: I hope it helps.
