I have experimented with Google PPC, but the conversion rate just doesn't support the ROI needed -- its just to expensive. Have others been able to make it work for them?

Laura, have you experimented with the traffic you get from Google (PPC - Pay Per Click) without coupons?

PPC campaigns bring you visitors, but your site needs to be optimized to sell to the visitors that arrive there.

Once you know your website converts well, then you can try and add coupons and see if that improves your conversion.

Hope that helps.

I am interested to know if any of you have had success using discount codes with Pay Per Click programs on Google or other search engines? I have experimented some, but the conversion rates seem too low to make it work -- have others been successful?
